I don't generally recommend eating regular gluten breads. As yummy as they may be, gluten is not our friend. It contributes to gut issues and if you know me, I'm all about helping people fix gut issues. Hippocrates said, 'All disease begins in the gut." He was right! Some breads I recommend are ketogenic, some raw & dehydrated and more. You will need a dehydrator for some recipes like the Herb and Onion Flat Bread and the Buckweat Flat Bread. I have an Excalibur (one of the best) 9 tray dehydrator. You don't need to get it this big. They are available with less trays. Invest in Parraflex non-stick sheets for your dehydrator too. You will need them and they last forever.
So if you are following a ketogenic diet, there are recipes for you and if a paleo vegetable based diet, there are ideas for you too. Maybe your eating plan is somewhere in between so then you can mix it up. Not everyone is into one strict plan and that's ok depending on your health goals.
I give thanks to Russell James for this recipe. I hope he doesn't mind me posting it. Please check out his raw food course and for just a few dollars a month you can join and get recipes via email throughout the month. It's worth it. This is a great way to get away from high carb breads and get more raw into your diet. My fave sandwich has sprouts, avocado, red onion, lettuce, tomato and whatever else seems yummy that particular day.
Another great grain and gluten free bread.
